Food kit to mitigate migrant vulnerability

Alarme Phone Sahara (APS) is fulfilling the proposal of one of its partners to provide assistance to migrant households blocked in their right to move. A total of eight (8) households testify to this humanitarian gesture which is materializing at a crucial moment.

Testimonies of beneficiaries of the 4-month pilot experience (November 2020 - February 2021):

The beneficiary populations are outside their countries, far from their families and live for the most part in confined spaces due to the Covid 19 pandemic. While progressing in their movement is an obstacle course, surviving in the new host environment is an endurance race as migrants' talents are underestimated by potential employers. To alleviate the hardships of this expectation of an uncertain tomorrow among this mobile population, "Médico International" supports Alarme Phone Sahara to provide monthly food assistance to households where communities that are victims of the policy of externalisation of borders live.
