21st of May 2021: Transnational Day of Action "Freedom of Movement instead of deportations!"

On 21st of May 2021, the transnational network "Afrique Europe Interact" and Alarme Phone Sahara, together with different partner groups, celebrated the transnational day of action "FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT INSTEAD OF DEPORTATIONS!" to demonstrate against deportations from Europe to African countries, but also deportations between African countries, encouraged by readmission agreements and by the externalisation of the EU border regime

Almost 5000 Migrants deported from Algeria to the border of Niger within one month while Niger is hit by a murderous terror campaign

New deportation convoys from Algeria into the desert border zone on 21st and 23rd of March 2021. At least 137 civilian persons murdered in the Tillia region in Niger.

Since the beginning of 2021, Taher Laouel and Attoumane Boukar, whistleblowers for Alarme Phone Sahara, have twice participated in the rescue of people in distress in the desert - a practical initiative against the consequences of policies of externalisation of borders that put the lives of migrants and refugees in danger.

Call for donations: Support the collective kitchen for migrants in Agadez!

Since July 2020, the team of Alarme Phone Sahara (APS) in Agadez/Niger has been organising with great commitment every Saturday a collective kitchen for migrants currently living in the city of Agadez.

The collective kitchen is a practical answer to a situation in which many migrants and refugees are stranded in Niger and struggle for survival every day under very precarious conditions. This situation has been extremely exacerbated by the global corona crisis.

Spendenaufruf: Unterstützt die Gemeinschaftsküche für Migrant*innen in Agadez!

Seit Juli 2020 organisiert das Team des Alarme Phone Sahara (APS) in Agadez/Niger mit großem Engagement jeden Samstag eine Gemeinschaftsküche für Migrant*innen, die derzeit in der Stadt Agadez leben.

Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist eine praktische Antwort auf eine Situation, in der viele Migrant*innen und Flüchtlinge in Niger gestrandet sind, und täglich unter sehr prekären Bedingungen um ihr Überleben kämpfen. Diese ist durch die weltweite Coronakrise noch extrem verschärft worden.

Beteiligt euch mit einer Spende, damit die Arbeit der Gemeinschaftsküche für Migrant*innen in Agadez weitergehen kann!
